Current Position and Affiliations
I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Florence (Italy). At Tilburg University I am also a member of the Centre for Economic Research (CentER) and of the Tilburg Law and Economics Centre (TILEC).
In addition, I am Associate Editor of Information Economics and Policy. I am also member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Media Economics.

Education
I obtained my PhD in Economics at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, in November 2005.
Before that I studied Humanities at high school (liceo classico) Galileo in Florence, then obtained a degree in Economics and Commerce at the University of Florence in September 1999 and a Master in Economics at Coripe-Piemonte in Turin in July 2000.
